A Welcome Letter
It begins as most things do with a gratuitous welcome. Hello, my name is Nicole Tessela it's nice to make your acquaintance. Go ahead and make yourself comfortable, brew some tea, sit back, and enjoy the embarking of a mostly visual story through days and weeks and years of themes. Also, be prepared for weird punctuation points and classy and effective run on sentences. I write like I talk so enjoy the adventure.
So, what exactly is this I'm trying to do? Well, a make-up/fashion/illustration blog. Mostly, with my own visage but with occasional guest beauties of all ages and ethnicities. I plan to have weekly themes ranging anywhere from film and television to random objects and fairytales. I'll give you the reader all the opportunities to write in what you'd like to see in a theme week and hopefully I will be able to comply. There is also the added bonus of a monthly draw to a randomly selected reader of the themes creations of that month. I'll whip up a monthly box for you to enjoy full of that months themes goodies that I've created. So, one of a kind wonders. Of those a select few will appear for sale up in my shop each one of a kind since they'll all be done by hand.
I'll mostly be doing make-up but I won't be doing any tutorials or videos. I might do little videos of me being me. I apologize in advance. I am in no way, shape, or form a normal individual. What this will be is a form of inspiration. My interpretation of themes that will hopefully inspire you in your own art. I won't be doing tutorials because well I don't have your face and without that it'd be pretty pointless to go over designs that possibly wouldn't suit you. Also, everything I do on here is my own unique style that I've built up over years. You know, after having failed and tried again numerous times before I got to where I am today. It'll probably keep on happening many more times in my life. We never stop improving. I want you to have that same journey. So, I want you to be inspired to try something and practice until you find your own styles and masteries.
This is the first of a grand adventure. Don't be afraid to ask anything along the way and get immersed in the stories. It'll be refreshing to have the company.
Cheers,
Nicole Tessela
